Empowering Youth: Kids Yoga

This playful yet practical workshop and training is designed for anyone who wants to share the benefits of yoga with children — whether you’re a yoga teacher, educator, coach, parent, or simply someone who works with or cares for kids.

Using the Align Yoga Method, you’ll learn how to create engaging, age-appropriate classes that help children develop strength, flexibility, focus, and emotional regulation. This half-day session blends child development principles with fun, accessible yoga and mindfulness techniques that inspire confidence, creativity, and self-awareness in young people.

In this 4-hour session, you’ll learn:

  • How to adapt yoga poses for different age groups and developmental stages
  • Creative sequencing and games that keep kids engaged and active
  • Mindfulness and breathing techniques to support focus, calm, and self-regulation
  • Ways to weave in themes of kindness, resilience, and empowerment
  • Classroom management and safety considerations for kids yoga settings
