Mind, Body & Baby: Prenatal Yoga
This half-day workshop, which can also be used as continuing education for anyone who is a yoga teacher or fitness professional, offers the knowledge and confidence to safely and effectively practice yoga or guide students through all stages of pregnancy.
Rooted in the
Align Yoga Method, this training/workshop integrates anatomy, alignment, and mindful movement to support the physical, emotional, and energetic needs of expectant mothers.
In this 4-hour session, you’ll learn:
- Key anatomical changes during pregnancy and how they affect movement
- Safe alignment principles for all trimesters
- Modifications and prop usage for comfort and stability
- Gentle strengthening and mobility practices to prepare for birth
- Breathwork and relaxation techniques to ease discomfort and reduce stress
- Considerations for common pregnancy-related conditions and contraindications
Bonus:
You’ll also receive a professionally written
prenatal guided meditation that you can use to support your own practice or share with others in a class or one-on-one setting.
